This is a nice treat which is worth a couple of gram sugar!

Ingredients

Instructions
  1. Peel the pears then boil them in some water with 100 g (3.5 oz or 0.2 lb) sugar, the vanilla pod (cut into half, lengthwise) and the lemon for about 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, heat up the oven for 190 °C (370 °C)
  3. Take out the pears from the water carefully, cut into half and place them on a paper lined backing tray.
  4. Brush the pears with honey and bake for 15 minutes.
Espresso cream
  1. Combine the mascarpone with the espresso and the rest of the sugar.
  2. Serve the baked pears on the espresso cream then dust with the ground cinnamon and enjoy!
